Charred fragments of metal are all that’s left of the helicopter that crashed and burned atop a Midtown Manhattan office on Monday, according to a photo released by the FDNY.

The stunning overhead image shows about a half-dozen firefighters standing amid the wreckage, including what appears to be a part of the doomed chopper’s tail.

The rest of the helicopter appears to have been completely destroyed and reduced to bits.

Another photo shows a metal catwalk above the crash scene with its metal safety railing and grating-style walkway broken and bent.

A large-diameter pipe on the other side of the walkway is undamaged.

The pilot of the Agusta A109E is believed to have been killed when the chopper crashed on the roof of 787 Seventh Ave. around 1:45 p.m., officials have said.

No one else is believed to have been aboard.
